Question:
Is it okay to use Z-571 on a 2018 Limited Subaru Outback? Where do they go? front tires or back tires?

Expert Reply:
We don't carry the Z-Chain brand of tire chains but I am familiar with them. They basically are a cable style traction device for tires very similar to ones we carry. Your 2018 Limited Subaru Outback has the tire size of 225/60-18 which for a set of similar cables we have the Glacier set part # PW1046 which would fit and work well. We had the chance to install these on a 2017 Subaru Outback similar to yours and found they fit and worked well. If you check out the install video link I attached you'll see the chains installed on the vehicle. For tensioners you'd also want the part # PW105 too and you'd be set. These help hold the chains tight to the wheel and they are what's used in the install video.
