Should Passenger Vehicle Tires be Used on Boat Trailer
Question:
Ive got a couple of boats and trailers that take 12 or 13 inch tires. Since a car radial usually carries more weight than most boat trailers would I be better off to just get car radials and have more dependability and a longer lasting tire? Thanks

We do not ever recommend using P rated or passenger vehicle tires on trailers. They aren't designed for the same vertical weight that a trailer will see. You will want to stick with ST rated trailer tires which I attached links to for the 12 and 13 inch sizes we offer as well.
