Recommended Tire Chains Compatible with P275/55R20 Tire on 2011 Ford F-150

Question:

I have a 2011 ford f150 with p275/55r20 tires. The owner manual does not recommend using tire chains for this size tire and several more. Are there tire chains that will work for this vehicle and tire?

There are many tire chains that will fit your tires. I've attached a link to all your options to assist, however the manufacturer as you stated will not accept any liability for using them with your 2011 Ford F-150. This isn't that uncommon, but I do recommend using chains that are Class S compatible for the least clearance required.

I recommend the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link # TC2327. These chains will provide you with a smoother ride based on their design and require only 1.46" (37 mm) between the top of the tire tread and the wheel well and at least 0.59" (15 mm) between the tire's sidewall and the vehicle itself. I've attached a couple videos to assist.
