Should Spacers Be Used when Installing Lift Kit on Truck with Firestone Air Bag Kit
Question:
I currently have the firestone airbags installed on my 2010 Silverado 1500. I want to add a 2 inch suspension lift, can I leave the bags on as is, or do I need to add spacers? If I need to add spacers, do you have parts available?

What I would recommend you do is measure the distance you have currently between the frame and your axle and then measure the same distance once you install the lift. You'd then want to install the spacer kit that matches that distance the best. We've found that not every lift gives you exactly what they advertise. But if you did get a full 2 inch lift you'd want the part # F2366. If it's more like a 1-1/2 inch lift you'd then want the part # F2536.
