Best Way to Install E-Track to Utility Trailer
Question:
Whats the best way or recommended way to secure the e track to the bed of a utility trailer? I am hauling a motorcycle. the trailer is 6 x 10 and I purchased 4 of the 4 foot e tracks. The bed of the trailer is wood. sorry if this isnt a great question and thank you .

You can mount the E-Track Trailer Cargo Control, # EM59150, using wood screws if the mounting surface is wood. If it is sheet metal, I would use sheet metal screws. Basically, match the screw with the material you are mounting to. There is no recommended way of installing the E-Track as installation is the responsibility of each individual installer. The more points you can contact the trailer frame, the more secure the spare tire will be.
You might also want to consider using a backing plate like # e96RR, or use large washers, if you intend to mount the E-Track in an area where no wall framing is available.
