For your 2018 Subaru Outback wagon I recommend the Titan Chain # TC1555 with square links in a diamond pattern because they will give you superior traction in snow as well as ice.
These are Class S tire chains so they do work with vehicles that have limited clearance but you do want to check your Outback's owner's manual to ensure you can use chains and also be sure you have a a minimum of 1.46" (37 mm) between the top of the tire tread and the wheel well as well as at least 0.59" (15 mm) between the tire's sidewall and the Subaru Outback Wagon.
In addition it is recommended to use Glacier Multi-Arm Rubber Adjusters # PW105 to help the chains maintain their tension when installed on your Outback.
I have added links to video reviews of these parts for you to check out as well.
