For your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon with tire size 225/65-17 Subaru doesn't like to recommend the use of chains but they state that if you have to use a set that they have to be Class S compatible. This means they require a small amount of clearance.

If you want a set of chains that will last a long time, give you excellent traction, have the needed clearance, and literally install in seconds the best options is the Konig Easy Fit Chains part # TH04115245. In every way these are the best chains for your vehicle!

If you wanted something more economically priced the Titan Chains part # TC1555 are also a fit. They have a bit more involved of an install and won't last as long but they do offer great traction.
