Load Range D Trailer Tire in Size ST205/75R14
Question:
My Toy Hauler came with ST 205/75R14 Load C. Manufacture states to run them at 50 psi. Dont know who make the wheel. Im interested in putting a 205/75R14 Load Dinch on for safety. My questions are: 1 Do I have to change the wheels? 2 If I dont change the wheels can I run the Dinch range tires at the 50 psi. 3 Whats the max air pressure my wheels are rated for? Thanks

The trick with trailer tire pressure is to always use the max tire pressure listed on the sidewall of it. This ensures you have the full weight capacity and prevent heat build up. For a Load Range D tire in size ST205/75R14 we have the Westlake tire part # 274-000012 which has weight capacity of 2,040 lbs at 65 psi and would work well for you. It would require you to keep the PSI at 65 psi which would not be an issue for your wheels or the valve stems. I really like this tire because it has a max speed rating of 75 mph and because this tire comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
