Recommended Ring Terminals for 10 to 14 Gauge Trailer Wiring
Question:
what size of ring terminals do you use for the wiring is it #10 or 1/4inch inside and use the same size for all wire or can you use different ring terminals for the wire gauge like 10-12 for larger wire and 14-16 for smaller gauge thanks for your time

Expert Reply:
When using ring terminals for wire gauges between 10 and 14 I recommend using # 44-5310A. The smaller gauge wire will just be stripped back further and doubled up for a snug fit. These ring terminals work great for a connecting a trailer connector like # H20046 you asked this question from to a junction box like # 38656.
