What Does the 4.00 Mean on the Kenda K371 Bias Trailer Tire 4.80/4.00-8
Question:
I have a question about the numbers on the side of the tire I ordered. 4.80/4.00-8 I know what the 4.80 stands for and I know what the 8 stands for but, what does the 4.00 stand for. I know the tire fits a 3.75 x8 inch rim, just dont know about the 4.00??????. Thanks,

On the Kenda K371 Bias Trailer Tire, # AM10002, the 4.00 that you see is there so that people who have the older 4.00x8 tires, which are no longer available, will know that this size is compatible with their trailer. So if you are replacing 4.80 x 8 or 4.00 x 8, it will fit.
