Recommended Tire Chains for 2018 Toyota Tundra TRD Off-Road 4x4
Question:
I bought my first 4x4 truck this spring. Would I need tire chains for all 4 tires or only the front or rear pair. If only one pair need chains, which pair? Also, How much do I need to worry about the chains damaging the rims on my 2018 Toyota Tundra TRD Off-Road

On your 2018 Toyota Tundra TRD Off-Road 4x4, your owner's manual on page 312 states to put chains on the rear tires. It also states to disable the pre-collision system when tire chains are installed and that the Lane Departure Alert system, the ABS system may not function properly with the chains installed.
From my research your TRD Off-Road uses 275/65R18 tires, so I recommend the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link # TC2327 which will have the manganese nickel alloy construction for durability and has the integrated tensioners. These diamond pattern chains will help you have a smoother ride and will not damage your tire rims when uses properly. Tire chains have a maximum speed between 25 and 30 mph.
