For my 2018 Ram 2500 short bed I want fifth wheel hitch that uses under bed rails so I don't have big rails in my truck bed all the time.

For your 2018 Ram 2500 short bed the best underbed fifth wheel hitch setup will be the B and W Companion Slider Hitch part # BWRVK3400 and the rail kit part # BWGNRK1384. This setup gives you the best slider fifth wheel hitch on the market and an underbed rail kit like you wanted. What's also great is that the rail kit also doubles as a gooseneck hitch too. For a 7-way to install in the bed of your truck to make connecting your trailer lights easier you would want the part # 41157. Most 7-ways will be at the rear of the truck near the bumper which doesn't work will with fifth wheel hitches. This kit installs in line with the 7-way at the rear of your truck and gives you a second one to install in the bed.
