Recommended Best Trailer Hitch Receiver When Comparing Options for 2019 Honda CR-V
Question:
Can you compare the draw-tite and curt 2 inch hitches for 2019 CR-V?

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76128 , the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13397, and the etrailer # e98848 are all very similar. They will install in the same location on your Honda frame but they are rated for different load capacities and both of these capacity ratings greatly surpass the manufacturer towing capacity outlined in your owners manual, so I don't recommend making that the determining factor.
The Curt # C13397 or the etrailer # e98848 is my recommendation because the cross-tube is hidden where the Draw-Tite hitch is exposed and the hitch pin hole on the Curt hitch is farther out which is a benefit when using any accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier to give you more clearance from your bumper. This is also a help when towing. I've attached pictures of both to assist.
If you will be towing with this hitch, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118741 for your trailer wiring. This harness connects to the factory wiring harness located in your rear cargo area behind the driver's side trim panel.
For a ball mount, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch # BWTS10035B which will give you two hitch ball options as well as adjustability to tow level and a really nice stow away feature. I recommend using a hitch lock like # e98880 to secure your investment.
