Can Curt RV Bumper Hitch # E-100 be Used to Carry Motorcycle Carrier

Question:

I have a 2001 Jayco 270-c with 4inch x 4inch rear bumper. Can I use the E-100 to carry my Yamaha XT250 with Joe Hauler Carrier? XT250 dry weight 270 Lbs plus Joe Hauler Carrier weight 50 Lbs equals 320 Lbs total weight.

The Curt hitch part # E-100 does fit 4 inch square bumpers like you have and has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity. If you are sure you'd be under that at 320 lbs then you'd be good. You would have to use a stabilizer strap like part # 18050 to brace the carrier per the requirement from Curt when carrying a non-supported load like a carrier.

I attached a review video for the strap as well. You will also need to check with Jayco to make sure your bumper is rated for the weight too.
