Ladder Rack Recommendation for 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 Short Bed with Bak Revolver Tonneau Cover

I am new to pickups, just got rid of my 3/4 ton suburban. A previous question asked about using the stake pockets in the truck bed rails. You suggested a possible solution but it did not use the stake pockets. I need a rack system that works with the Revolver X2 cover to carry kayaks, ladders, etc. that can be removed when not in use. Ive looked at many options and none of them seem mount using the stake pockets, which seems odd to me. Why are the stake pockets there and why dont the rack systems use them? I would rather not install permanent fixtures to my truck but I really need a solution. Thanks!

We have just what you need. The ladder rack that is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed and uses the stake pockets for attachment is the Thule TracRarc SR ladder rack part # TH43002XT-781. This is totally compatible with your BAK Revolver part # BAK39121 as well since it installs through the top of the stake pockets and your tonneau installs to the insides of them.
