Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe SE
Question:
I have confirmed from Kurt that theior hitch C13195 same as 2018 Kia Sorento will fit the new Santa fe SE. I dont see why the other trim models SE plus, limited etc should be any different as far as exhaust, frame bumper etc. I would just like to confirm this if someone could get back to me. If you are not able to confirm yet, could someone contact me as soon as they find out? Also would need to confirm that C56332 would be with wiring for a factory wired 2019 Santa Fe. Thanks

I was able to confirm with Curt that the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # C13195 that you referenced is indeed a fit for your 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe SE. At this time (August 2018) the hitch is only confirmed to work with the SE model, most likely because the hitch has simply not been tested yet with the other trim options. I have attached the installation instructions that you can use for reference.
As of now there are only universal wiring harnesses available for your 2019 Santa Fe. The Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness # C56332 that you mentioned is not confirmed to fit this vehicle. The Santa Fe is going through a generation change for the 2019 model year so it's very possible that a brand new harness design is needed for the vehicle. As of now I recommend the Universal Wiring Kit # C59236. This is a hardwire kit that will provide you with a 4-Way connector to power a trailer's basic signal lights.
