Recommended Reducer Sleeve and Anti-Rattle Pin for 2017 F-250 With 3 Inch Receiver

Question:

I have the reduction sleeves to take 3inch to 2inch but they have too much wiggle inside them. Any way to use the 3-2 reducer I’ve seen here and make it so there is a solid 2-inch receiver with no wiggle?

The Buyer's Products Adapter # 337RTA302 is a much better option than using multiple sleeves. The XL Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2-1/2" Hitches # SHP2040-XL has a 3.54 inch pin span that will work if the outer edges of your receiver don't exceed that. The 3 inch pins like # WS05 only have that 3-1/2 inch span, so it should work and give you the anti-rattle stabilization as well but you may need to get a longer spring for easy installation.
