Scissor Step for Slide-In Camper in 2017 Toyota Tacoma 4x4
Question:
should I buy 3 or 4 steps ?????

Expert Reply:
The Brophy 4-Step Camper Scissor Steps # AS24 work with campers that have an entryway height of 31 to 39-inches. So long as your camper's threshold is within this height range above level ground this step will work fine. If your camper's door height is lower, in the range of 24 to 31-inches, then instead you can use the similar 3-step unit # AS23.
Both of these steps are rated for 300-lbs and are only to be used while your vehicle is stationary. They should not be mounted permanently. Use the included mounting bracket for installation once you're at your campsite.
