Dimensions and Installation of Lippert Kwikee Step on Ford 350 Series Bus
Question:
I was expecting a better drawing but I can do with what you have provided. I do need more electrical detail. do you have a better explanation of its complete function? A schematic would be even better. Its great that the step extends with the door operation but I need to know that interface. Also there are times when we dont want the step to extend with the door operation. can we override, electrically? Again, a complete electrical schematic will answer all my questions pertaining to the integration with the bus. Let me know if you can provide. We cannot purchase until we have an understanding on its functionality and interface with the bus.

The Lippert Kwikee 30 Series Electric Step - 1 Step - 7-1/2" Drop/Rise - 36" Wide - 300 lbs # LC3694112 will have a retracted height of 7.25 inches and an extended height of 11.88 inches. This unit comes with a door switch to extend when opened and retract when closed.
This unit can mount to the floor of your bus. You will need a 12V power supply to the system, so I recommend using wire # 10-1-1 sold by the foot along with circuit breaker # 9510 between the unit and the positive battery terminal.
