Difference Between 4-Flat Harnesses for 2016 and 2018 Ford Escape
Question:
I just pulled a C56335 out of a 2016 Ford Escape w/o factory towing pkg. I have to trade it in on a 2018 Ford Escape w/o factory towing pkg. I was hoping to use it on the 2018. Your website says that the 2018 requires the C56320. Will the C56335 work with the 2018? whats the difference between the two?

Expert Reply:
The Curt 4-Flat Wiring Harness # C56335 will NOT work with your 2018 Ford Escape, you will need to use the Curt Wiring Harness # C56320.
These plug-in harnesses are vehicle-specific fits and if you take a look at the accompanying photos you can see that the plugs are different on the harnesses.
