Where to Install Trailer Plug Mounting Bracket on 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon

Where do you recommend mounting on 2016 Subaru Outback when bumper cover is all plastic?

If you can't find a sturdy location beneath the bumper to attach a mounting bracket like the Tow Ready # 18144 that you referenced, you can simply use the trailer hitch as a mounting surface instead.
To do this I recommend adding a no-drill bracket like the Long # C57202 or Short # 18140. This will allow you to attach the bracket you mentioned to the trailer hitch crosstube without having to drill or modify the hitch in any way. I have attached a short video demonstration so you can see exactly how this works.
