We do have great trunk mounting bike racks that fit your vehicle but the Thule Raceway PRO 2-Bike Rack TH9001PRO is not a fit for the 2017 Toyota RAV4.

For a very high quality trunk mounted bike rack confirmed as a fit for your 2017 Toyota RAV4 that's not too crazy in price we have the Yakima FullBack part # Y02634 which is a great rack. We had the chance to fit this rack on a 2016 Toyota RAV4 similar to yours and we found it fit and worked well. Check out the review video I attached for you.

With this product, do not use rear wiper when carrier is installed. The weight limit for 2 bikes is 60 lbs.

For a alternative solution hitch mounted bike racks are generally preferred because they offer a more secure attachment point for a bike rack and because they do not touch any painted surfaces. For a hitch you would want a etrailer part # e98864. This has been confirmed to fit your vehicle and would work well for carrying a bike rack. I attached an install video for you to check out as well. For a bike rack I really like the Thule Doubletrack Pro XT Bike Rack # TH92BJ. This rack can carry up to 2 bikes, and has adjustable wheel loops that eliminate bike-to-bike contact during transport. It folds down for easy access to vehicle's rear cargo area.

If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
