You can use a slider type of 5th wheel trailer hitch, like # RP30051 in a long bed truck. In a long bed truck it is very unlikely that you will need to use the sliding feature of the hitch to make 90 degree turns safely. It can remain in the tow position (not slid back) and you should have enough clearance with an 8 foot bed truck. A slider should only be slid back when making tight maneuvers and not for general traveling.

For something rated higher, but is not a slider, we have the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # RP30928. It has a 20,000 pound gross trailer weight capacity and 5,000 pound pin weight capacity.

I already have a pullrite autoslider for a F350 with OEM Puck. Was wondering if this hitch would fit an F-450 with OEM Puck as that would allow me to now have to purchase another hitch.

If your Pullrite autoslider has the ISR series that fits standard rails, then you can use the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs # RP30156 or the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ford OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 25,000 lbs # DM6175 to fit your OEM pucks and the hitch. If your hitch is the traditional series or the superglide, then you will need the adapters from that manufacturer.
