Troubleshooting Arms Not Sliding In and Out on Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Tow Bar
Question:
I cannot release the tow arms to slide in and out, I pull the release handle up but the arms will not slide in and out.

If you are having difficulty releasing the arms on your Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Tow Bar # RM-576, it's very possible that there is some dirt and debris on the arms that is interfering with its function. Make sure the tow bar is clean by using a water-soluble cleaner to break down any road film and dirt. After the bar is completely clean, you will want to spray a dry silicone lubricant like # RM-747 into all moving parts. Flex all the components on the tow bar to make sure the lubricant gets worked in.
