Troubleshooting Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 that Stops Sending Signal
Question:
I step in the brake pedal and the green on the Tekonsha Voyager goes to red but then disappears. Trailer brakes dont come on but if I move the slider the trailer gradually come on. What do you think? 05 Dodge ram 1500.

It sounds like you have a short somewhere. Try looking at the connector on both your tow vehicle and you trailer to make sure that they are clean and free of corrosion. If they are clean use a circuit tester like part # PTW2992 to test the pins on your tow vehicle connector to test the brake controller output wire (5 o'clock position).
Set the power of the Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 to high and then use the manual override switch to send signal back to that pin. If you don't get anything or the controller stops sending signal again then you know the problem is on your 2005 Ram 1500, if not then you know the problem is on your trailer.
Either way check the grounds and your wires. Make sure your grounds are secured to a clean, bare-metal surface and that your wiring doesn't have any damage. Replace and Secure as necessary.
Let me know if you are still having issues and I can help you troubleshoot further.
