Do Diodes Need to be Replaced for Roadmaster Wiring Kit # RM-154 on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
Transferred my hook up from a 2014 jeep to a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and signals dont work. There is proper power from tow bar plug to the jeep. Evidenced by using a tester light. Can the diodes be bad? Thanks for your help.

If you are using the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 then I have some steps you can take to see what is wrong.
It could very well be the diodes that you are using. Try using your tester on the wiring right before it enters the diodes if you are getting a signal before they enter the diodes but not a signal afterwards then you need to replace the diodes with part # RM-794.
Another possibility is that the wiring itself is bad. You can use the Wesbar # W002230 to replace your current wiring if you read signal from your RV but not past that initial 4-Way connector.
