&-way and 4-Way Connector Combination for a 1996 Dodge Ram Pickup
Question:
Need to replace a 7 pin connector harness and not sure if the three pin male and four pin female connectors in your photos are the same.

Expert Reply:
If your current 7-Way connector on your 1996 Dodge Ram Pickup needs to be replaced but the wiring itself is still in good order then you simply need to replace your connector with part # HM40975 which gives you both a 7-Way and a 4-Way connector. Try to remove just the connector. If you are able to do so and you have a US Car Connector (see attached picture) then you know that this will work. For just a 7-Way use part # PK11893.
We also have the 7-Way and 4-Way available with a wiring harness as part # HM40975-11998 if some of your wiring needs to be replaced. Let me know you need any more help.
