Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Subaru Impreza to Tow Motorcycle Trailer
Question:
Can you please tell me if I am able to connect this product: MaxxTow MaxxHaul Aluminum Motorcycle Carrier for 2inch Hitches - 400 lbs to this product : Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2? Also, do you have a larger motorcycle weight carrier? One that is for 500-600 pounds? Thanks!

We have hitches available for your 2018 Subaru Impreza that would be able to handle the weight of a 500-600 lb motorcycle carrier like the Draw Tite part # 76209 as it has a 675 lb tongue weight capacity, but from the research I did on your vehicle it looks like it's limited to only 350 lbs of tongue weight so this wouldn't be ideal with a motorcycle carrier.
Your best option would be a small trailer for carrying the motorcycle. For that you'd need wiring part # 118629 for if you have a sedan or part # 118744 for if you have a wagon.
If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
