Expert Reply:

Both are great jounce-style systems that have similar functions. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, Item # TJRJK, is designed to provide support and stability with vehicles that are carrying heavy loads. The Timbrens are a stiffer spring that are really designed for heavy lifting often associated with trucks and their loads and so they will be a "rougher" ride in your 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. In contrast, the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs, Item # SSR-401-47, are a softer spring that progressively adjust your support and stability as needed and so will provide a "softer" ride in your Jeep Wrangler.

For you situation, the SumoSprings are the better choice.
