Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2016 Subaru Crosstrek
Question:
I have a 2016 Crosstrek. Will this hitch 306-X7365 fit on it or is there a hitch just like this one with another part #?

Expert Reply:
The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7365 is not a fit for your 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. You will instead want the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7203 which will fit models with the center knock-out panel in the lower rear fascia.
Then for your wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118467 which is a confirmed fit for your vehicle. You will find the factory harness to plug into either behind the driver's side trim panel in the rear cargo area or in the spare tire compartment.
For a ball mount, you may be interested in the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount # BWTS10035B which will give you the two hitch ball sizes that will work with trailers of that weight. It also has a nice stowable option to protect your shins when not in use and has a clean look. You may also be interested in a hitch lock like # e98882 to protect your ball mount or other accessories you've invested in.
