Which Size Spacers are Needed for 2 Inch Lift on 2012 Chevy Silverado

Question:

2012 silverado 1500 4x4 crew cab z71 I have a 3front 2rear leveling kit on my truck. What spacer do I need to use with your bag kit. Using the bags to level load while towing. Next question is are shims pitched at all? Or are they flat in relation to top and bottom. What is the actual thickness of the shit?

The size spacer you will need to use Firestone air bag helper springs # F2430 depends on how much the distance increased between the bottom of the frame and the top of the axle. You have a 2 inch lift kit but the actual amount of lift is likely less than 2 inches.

The way to figure that out, unless you already know, is to install the upper and lower brackets for the air bags and measure the distance between them. If the distance is 6-1/2 to 7-1/2 inches you would need a 1.25 inch spacer set # F2536. This is likely the size you will need.

The next step up, # F2366, would be if the distance between the brackets is 7-1/2 to 8-1/2 inches.

If by shim you mean the spacers they are flat, not pitched.
