Can Bike Rack Be Locked to EcoHitch Stealth Hitch with Removable Hitch Opening

Question:

Considering this vs. the Curt for the 2inch on my 2018 crosstrek. I like that I dont need to drill holes and it can be tucked away when not used, however what concerns me is the way it attaches to the beam. I understand it uses a big bolt to secure the unit, but there seem to be no way of preventing someone to slide under the bumper and unbolt the big bolt and walk away with my bike rack. Please advise.

The EcoHitch Stealth part # 306-X7365 setup is a bit unique, most thieves would not know that there's a hitch pin bolt that secures the lower portion to the beam of the hitch. It would be out of plain sight so they wouldn't know it was like that unless they were familiar with this hitch and happened to have the correct size wrench on them.

One way to combat this would be to use a cable like part # e98891 through the bike frame and then to the safety chain loops of the hitch.
