Parts Needed for Towing with a 2017 Ford Escape
Question:
Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 Item # C13186 and T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # 118566 Will fit the 2017 Ford Escape?

Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13186 is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Ford Escape but for the wiring harness you want the T-Connector part # C56320 instead of part # 118566 which fits a 2013-2016 Ford Escape.
If you will be using this to tow then you also need a ball mount and hitch ball. One of the more popular options that we have is the Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2" Ball # C45036. You need to check the linked helpful article on ball mounts though to make sure that this one, which has a 2" drop, is correct for your towing application.
Videos for each product for your 2017 Escape have been linked for you to reference as well.
Be sure to check your owner's manual for any towing weights or instructions for towing as well.
