How to Carry 2 Bikes on a 2015 Nissan Rogue

Question:

I was so excited to see the HRF2 product and read the instructions and watched the video and thought it would work on my Nissan Rogue, 2015. Then I saw another thread that said something like your dealer was not lying to you, a hitch attachment is needed for a 2015 Rogue with a spoiler. So, bottom line question - can I use the trunk mount HRF2 on a 2015 Rogue with a rear spoiler? Id buy a hitch rack, buy my Rogue does not have a hitch anchor and I would rather not go thru the expense of installing one, so would prefer to purchase a reliable trunk rack. Thanks

I do have options for you but the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top 2 Bike Carrier part # HRF2 will not fit your 2015 Nissan Rogue. I called Hollywood Racks to confirm this. The only way to carry 2 bikes on your Rogue would be on a hitch or the roof as they do not make a 2 bike carrier compatible with your vehicle.

For a trailer hitch I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75902. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver tube opening. It will not require any drilling and is very easy to install as you can see in the attached install video on a 2015 Nissan Rogue. Then for a bike rack I recommend the Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack part # S64670. This rack has adjustable wheel hoops that works with a variety of different bikes in addition to having a folding upright feature for easy storage and hatch clearance. I have attached a review video of this rack for you as well.

If you can tell me if your vehicle came with factory side rails or not I would be happy to recommend a roof rack and bike carrier for you as well.
