Best 4.80/4.00-8 Trailer Tire for a Log Splitter
Question:
Please advise as to best tires for log splitter. They are 4.80/4.00-8 and the splitter weighs 550 lbs. I want to be able to tow at high speeds.

The best trailer tire we have for your log splitter with 4.80/4.00-8 tires is the Kenda Bias Trailer Tire part # AM10002. These tires have a 590 lb weight capacity (per tire) at 60 psi and come with a 2-year warranty. The tires are rated at 65 mph which will be the highest we can offer you in a 4.80/4.00-8 tire. I also recommend replacing the valve stems using part # AM20903 when you switch tires.
