Ground Clearance Difference Between Class II and III Draw-Tite Hitches on a 2018 Subaru Impreza
Question:
Dear E-Trailer, How much more ground clearance would the Drawtite 36644 have compared to the Drawtite 76209? Installation on a 2018 Subaru Imprezza Hatchback 5 door. Thanks!

We haven't installed either Draw-Tite # 76209 or # 36644 on a 2018 Subaru Impreza so I can't tell you the exact measurements on your car but I went out to our warehouse (safety toe covers and all) and compared the two hitches.
The lowest point of both hitches is actually the outside "wings" and not the receiver tube. Both of them are the same at about 10-1/2 inches from the mounting locations. The measurement at the reveiver tubes are about 1/2 an inch difference with the Class II, part # 36644, being slightly higher off the ground.
