Replacement Dome Assembly for Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # BVD0449-A01
Question:
The Replacement Operator, appears to be an exact fit except for how I should fasten it to the existing Dome. The existing Dome has a slot in the slide bar that the end of operator arm slides inside of. The plastic slider clip will not work with the existing slide bar. Should I modify the Operator by removing the plastic clip? Or, should I replace the existing Dome with a new Dome that will have a compatable slide bar for the BVD0460-00? I would appreciate your recomendation. Thank you

This Replacement Operator, Knob and Screw for Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vents # BVD0462-00 is designed to fit Ventline Ventadome roof vent models # V2092, # V2094.
If you do not have one of those roof vents, I cannot safely recommend you permanently modify the # BVD0462-00 in any way to accommodate your roof vent.
