How to Install the Reese Universal 5th Wheel Kit on a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 with 6-1/2 Foot Bed

I have purchased a gooseneck hitch for my gmc 2500, base rail kit 30035, instructions are giving for 8foot and 6foot box, I have a 6.5foot box, can u help me out, thanks

I have attached the installation instructions of the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit part # RP30035 on a 2011+ Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra for you. The correct instructions you will need to follow will be on page 4. The instructions are for both 6-1/2' and 8' beds.
The above 5th wheel installation kit is universal and works on a variety of different makes and models. This kit will require you to drill several holes into your truck's frame to mount the side brackets. For an option that will minimize drilling into your trucks frame rails, I highly recommend using the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit part # RP50066-58.
I have attached a sample installation video on the custom brackets for you to check out.
