Does the Derale Series 8000 Kit # D13503 Come with Everything Needed to Install on a 2010 Tundra

Question:

Hi, I have a 2010 Tundra with the 4.6L and it came from the factory WITHOUT a tow package or cooler etc. Id like to add one and want to make sure this kit will have everything I need. Doesnt seem like the hose in the picture would be enough? Im sure there arent any hard lines in place since it doesnt currently have one. Thanks!

The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13503, that you referenced, comes with everything you will need to install it on your 2010 Toyota Tundra. You will simply need to cut the 4 foot hose in half (or whatever lengths you need) that comes with and connect one to your transmission cooler and the other to the return line. I have attached the installation instructions for you to check out.

If you think you will need more than 4 feet of extra hose then you can also order the Derale High-Temperature Replacement Hose # D13003.

You will want to make sure that you have enough room to mount the transmission cooler (see attached photo for dimensions). The best place to mount it is in between the grille on your Tundra and the AC condenser core for the best performance. However if you do not have enough room there you have some other options as well. I have attached a helpful article that goes into a little more detail on this for you to reference.

If you are installing this to a hard line then you may also need a compression fitting. You will just need to choose one that is compatible with the line size that you have. We have ones compatible with 5-1/6" # D13031, 3/8" # D13032 and 1/2" # D13033 lines.
