Can Prodigy P2 Brake Controller Install in 2006 Volkswagen Touareg
Question:
Helping my son with wiring brake controller in VW Touraeg 2006, a Prodigy P2 controller. I saw that we may need a relay Part #D16763 was in article, and the wiring diagram. Well when I pulled up the relay number on your site I say wires not numbers. I am confussed.

The Prodigy P2 part # 90885 that you referenced can be installed on your 2006 Volkswagen Touareg, but you will need parts from Volkswagen that we can't provide to correctly wire the brake control harness: (qty. 1) #1J0-972-782 housing and (qty. 2) #000-979-228 wire/terminal assemblies.
The Derale relay # D16763 can also be used as the additional normally open relay that's needed.
In the attached tech bulletin you can see more info on the install of the controller.
