Snow Chains for 2014 Ford F-450 Super Duty
Question:
2014 ford f-450 super duty. dually with heavy steel landscaping box on back. tows landscape tool trailer. do I need 4 snow chains in back... I thought because of the weight of the steel box I could get away with only the outer tire chains. also, which type of chains work better? cable or regular chains? thanks.

I took a look at the owners manual for the 2014 Ford F-450 and though it did not specify where you should put the chains, it did say they were okay to use as long as the were Class S Compatible. And chains are by far a better option than cables; the ones you want are going to depend on your tire size. I've added a link that will take you to the page where you can input your tire size to lead you to the correct snow chains.
