Recommended Cable Chains for 2017 Ford Explorer

For the 255/50-20 size tires on your 2017 Ford Explorer, I recommend the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC3010. These are confirmed to fit this tire size and are Class S compatible, which means they are designed to work on vehicles with limited clearance like yours. I recommend adding a set of adjusters like the Titan Chain Multi-Arm # TCMA2, as these will tighten and maintain tension on the cable chains for an even better fit.

I took a look at the online owner's manual for your 2017 Ford Explorer and it stated that snow chains should only be used on the front two tires. We have a similar set of Titan twist link tire chains that fit your tire size of 265/75-16 with the part #TC2228 but the size you mentioned would not fit so you would not want to go with them.
