Recommendation for Adding 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector to a 2013 Jeep Rubicon without Tow Pkg
Question:
I have a 2013 Jeep Rubicon without factory tow and want a 7 and 4 pin trailer plug that simply plugs into my trail light do you have that? Part? Thanks

Without the factory tow package, there is not a 7-way connection that plugs right in with all the 7-way functions. You will need to install a 4-way flat connector like # 118416 first. This harness installs to the factory wiring located behind the driver's side tail light. I've attached a video to assist.
Then if you don't want all the 7-way functions, but need the 7 way adapter, you can simply use the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 4-Way Flat to 7-Way RV Trailer Adapter w/ 4-Way Vehicle End Plug # HM47180 to give you the 4-way and the 7-way connection with the basic functions of running lights, stop lights, and turn signals with either connection.
Then if you want to add the other functions of reverse, 12V power, and trailer brakes, you can use the kit # 5506 to hardwire those functions. To add a brake controller for trailer brakes to this system, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. I've attached some videos to assist.
