Parts Needed to Tow with a 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport
Question:
I have a 5 passenger 2015 Land Rover discovery with the spare tire under the rug in the back, not under the vehicle. Will this hitch fit? Any modifications needed or changes from the install video? What wiring harness works for this hitch and vehicle? Do you have a video for the wiring installation? Thank you in advance!

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13396 that you referenced will not interfere with the spare tire on your 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport since it is inside the rear hatch. You can use the linked instructions to help install this hitch on your Discovery Sport.
Keep in mind that all non-trailer loads, like a bike rack or cargo carrier, must be supported by a stabilization strap, like part # 18050, to keep in line with the warranty from Curt.
We do have a wiring harness that has a 4-Way flat connector on it that you can utilize. I recommend the Curt T-Connector # C56297 which will simply plug into the connectors behind your tail lights. There is no installation video, but we do have the instructions which is linked for you to check out. You can use part # 18144 and part # 18140 to secure the connector on your trailer hitch without drilling into it.
Since it sounds like you will be towing you may also need a ball ount and hitch ball. The Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2" Ball - 2" Drop # C45036 is a great option that has been very popular, but you will want to check out the attached ball mount article to ensure that it is correct for your towing application.
