According to the owner's manual for your 2004 Honda Element, tire chains can be used as long as they are class S compliant, used on the front two wheels, and on standard size tires that came equipped on the vehicle from the manufacturer.
I do have a set of tire chains that will fit your 225/70-16 tires but the Konig Standard Snow Tire Chains (Size 225) part # TH01571225 are not confirmed to fit this size tire. For a similar set of tire chains that will fit this tire size the Konig Standard Snow Tire Chains (Size 240) part # TH01571240 would be correct for you.
For another set of tire chains that will also fit the 225/70-16 tires you have but are class S compliant, I recommend taking a look at the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains part # TC1555.
The standard tire size that came on your Pilot from the factory was a 215/70-16 tire. This tire 8.5" wide with an overall diameter of 27.9". The 225/70-16 tires you currently are 8.9" wide with an overall diameter of 28.4".
I have attached a few install and review videos for you to look at as well.
