Does the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # C23519 Act as a Hitch Pin
Question:
i purchased this lock to go along with my new hitch and cargo carrier. Do I also need a hitch pin or will the hitch lock work in its place. Im not towing anything, just luggage. I did not see a weight limit on the lock and pin. Thanks

Expert Reply:
This Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, part # C23519, will act as a hitch pin and you will not need to buy an additional one. There is also not a weight limit for this product because it will not be bearing any of the weight of your cargo carrier. The hitch and cargo carrier will bear the weight of your cargo.
However, you will want to be aware of the weight capacity of the hitch and cargo carrier and be careful not to exceed the capacity of the lowest rated component.
I attached a review video for this product for you to check out also.
