Solution for Lost Keys to Bulldog Hitch Lock
Question:
Hi there I have a bulldog trailer hitch lock. My husband has managed to lose both key that came with it so I no longer have a key number. Is there anything I can do? I don’t want to have to buy a whole new hitch lock. Can I just replace the silver bar that goes through the hole? Or is there a code on the hitch lock itself that would enable a new key to be cut and purchased? Many thanks

If you no longer have the keys for your existing Bulldog Coupler Lock, unfortunately there is no identifiable information on the lock itself that will refer to the matching key number. Your best option will be to simply replace the entire lock assembly.
I recommend looking at the Bulldog Lifelong Trigger-Style Coupler Lock and 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # BD580404. This kit will includes both a coupler and hitch lock to secure your valuables. It includes 2 high-security square keys as well.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
