Replacement Drum Assemblies for AL-KO 8490 Hubs
Question:
I need a replacement brake drum assembly the number on the Hub is AL - KO 8490 5 no 5 lug pattern

According to my research, AL-KO 8490 references an AL-KO hub for 3,500 lb axles with a 10 x 2-1/4" drum and a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. For a drum assembly that will work with these hubs I recommend taking a look at the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA for self-adjust or part # AKEBRK-35 for manual adjust.
If you would also like to replace the hub then as long as your existing AL-KO hub uses an L68149 inner bearing and an L44649 outer bearing, the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-550-35-K for a 5 on 5 bolt pattern or part # AKHD-545-35-K for a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern would work well for you. I have attached an article that will show you how to measure your hubs for the correct bolt pattern.
I have also attached a review video for all of the above parts for you as well.
