How Long is the Hose in Derale Engine Oil Cooler # D15405 for a 2014 Ram 1500 5.7 Liter
Question:
It looks like this D15405 cooler will work but how much hose comes with it and if I need more is there an additional hose kit I can purchase? Also interested in transmission cooler D13503 but it says it comes with radiator adapter, my cooler from the factory doesnt go to the radiator, it goes to a cooler in front of the radiator will the adapter work?

The Derale oil cooler # D15405 comes with 10 feet of 1/2 inch hose. You could add another 10 feet using # D15700. Then you would just need a 1/2 inch line to 1/2 inch line hose barb fitting from an auto parts store and some additional hose clamps # D13008.
For transmission cooler # D13503 there are no special fittings required for installation. But if the included Insta-dapt fitting does not fit your external transmission cooler and the stock lines are metal you would need to cut and flare the lines.
