Comparing Fulton and Bulldog Replacement Snap Rings for Snap Ring Trailer Jacks

Question:

When I look up part # FP908600 and compare it with BD500241, the descriptions are essentially identical, except for the price. Is that the only difference? Are they made of the same materials, to exactly the same dimensions? Why not include the dimensions? ID, OD, Thickness, etc.

You are correct, the Fulton Snap Ring, # FP908600, and Bulldog Snap Ring, # BD500241, are very similar. I went out to the warehouse and pulled both parts to measure them using digital calipers.

Both had the following measurements:

Inner diameter = 2.28 inches
Outer diameter = 2.65 inches
Width and widest part = 0.25 inches
Thickness = 0.081 inches

The Bulldog part references specific jacks it will fit; up to 5,000 pound series 150, 160, and 170 jacks. Both parts are made of steel and made in the U.S.
